UMN Morris is a ‘standout’ in new Liberal Arts College rankings

Money magazine has named the University of Minnesota Morris as one of the “50 best liberal arts institutions in the U.S.” in its recent rankings for 2022-2023.  

The article states that “Liberal arts colleges focus on undergraduate education in the arts, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences. They offer small classes and the freedom to explore different academic interests."  UMN Morris was ranked #41 overall.  

An analysis of the Money ranking in University Business magazine further cited UMN Morris as a standout for affordability, ranking it at the top for lowest average full cost after grants: 

[T]he University of Minnesota Morris at No. 41 had the lowest cost of attendance of any in the Top 50 after grants at just $11,800. Students who attend see a great return of investment of more than $47,000 early in their careers.
