From biking and the Morris Transit to ride sharing and the weekend shuttle, Morris students are mobile low carbon travelers.
Morris Transit Service
During the school year, Morris Transit Service conveniently stops on campus on the hour and is a relatively inexpensive way to make your way around the community.
- Fares are $1.50, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m., from campus or if scheduled two hours in advance.
- Fares are $3, Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday, Sunday, or if not schedule two hours in advance.
You may also pick up a Punch Pass for $30 at the Information Desk in the Student Center.
Beginning May 13, hourly stops on campus will cease until classes resume in the fall. Customers are welcome to call 320-580-1000 to schedule rides to or from campus. Higbies will still sell Transit tickets during their summer hours.

Weekend TC Shuttle
The Morris campus contracts with a local bus company to offer weekend shuttle rides to the TC area. This service begins operating during the fifth weekend of the fall semester and continues through the academic year. The shuttle does not run during winter break or summer.
Tickets will only remain on sale until 2 p.m. of the departure day.
Departure Day (usually Friday)
- 6 p.m.—Load in the North Parking Lot of the Morris Campus
- 6:15 p.m.—Depart Morris
- 7:20 p.m.—Arrive at Alexandria Technical and Community College

- 9:30 p.m.—Arrive at the Maple Grove Transit Center
- 10:30 p.m.—Arrive at the West Bank of the UMN TC campus by the Carlson School
(South 4th Street, near the 4th Street and 19th Avenue intersection)
Return Day (usually Sunday)
- 6 p.m.—Depart from the West Bank of the UMN TC campus by the Carlson School
(load at the bus curb cut on South 4th Street, near the 4th Street and 19th Avenue intersection) - 7 p.m.—Depart from the Maple Grove Transit Center
- 8 p.m.—Depart from the McDonalds St. Cloud/St. Augusta

Note: Students are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of any departure. The bus will not wait. Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed on the bus.
